I had to mess around with the new Blogger - it's interesting!

You know, maybe I should be using this blog more often... I dunno how considering I've already got a Xanga too... maybe I can use this for more personal space? Hmmm......

It just took me 2 hours to donate blood. Seriously.

Luckily I'm working on a special project this week, so I'm not taking phone calls, but my left arm hurts like none other. Even typing is starting to hurt. They tried to get blood from that arm, and I got 1/2 a bag full, and then it just stopped coming out and the area where the needle was became all bruised and puffy. So I had to wait a little to get cleaned up, and had to switch sides. It was crazy. Thankfully I wasn't one of those people who fainted...

And I came back just in time for my lunch break, which was good because I'm still kinda feeling lightheaded.... What an unusual Monday morning.....

My mom just loves to forward me emails. Normally I just take a quick glance and *click* it's deleted. But this particular one she sent me this morning made me crack up, for some weird reason. I guess it's cause this morning has been pretty crazy so far - geez, you're gone from work for one day and all hell breaks loose when you come back.

I love my best friends.

In this case, I'm referring to my "sisters" since elementary school - Christiane, Jennifer and Julie - lthough today Julie was missing because of work. Let's think, the last time I saw them was my birthday fiasco 3 weeks ago, but today we picked up like nothing had changed. It did take us a couple of hours of gossip just to catch up, but other than that, we kept saying, "Dang I missed talking with you!" I mean, Christiane straight up went to London since then! We already made plans to hang out again next weekend just because we didn't fully catch up with each other. Plus we got a little shopping out of the way at Sunvalley Mall, so that's always good too =)

I'm excited because I got tickets today for not only Alicia Keys/Beyonce/Missy Elliot on April 17 in Anaheim (yes, as in So Cal - that's a completely different story though), but also tickets for N.E.R.D./Black Eyed Peas on March 29 at the Warfield. Wahoo!! I'm just starting to enjoy live concerts more and more - you can definitely determine who has real musical talent once you see someone perform live. I just hope there aren't gonna be hella ghetto folks there =P
